Truck Pre-Advice - Dispatcher

About Truck Pre-Advice - Dispatcher

The Dispatcher app is built for cooperative and trucking company dispatchers who coordinate truck movements into port and terminal facilities. It gives dispatchers a live view of all drivers in their co-op, showing who is available, who is en route, and who is offline, so pickups can be assigned to the right driver at the right time. Dispatchers can push pickup assignments directly to available drivers, complete with destination terminal, origin yard, and load notes, and monitor acceptance in real time with automatic release and reassignment if a driver doesn't respond. Once a trip is underway, the app provides live tracking with ETA, distance covered, and distance remaining, along with a timeline of key milestones from yard departure to terminal arrival. A daily pickups log with counters and filters helps dispatchers keep track of assigned, en-route, and completed trips throughout the day. By replacing phone calls and manual coordination with a fully digital workflow, PortGrid Dispatcher improves visibility, reduces idle time, and helps co-ops keep freight moving predictably into the port.
